Alkaline-forming Foods

Alkaline-forming (or alkalizing) foods are those which when metabolized form bases or alkalis in the body’s waste stream.

For vibrant health and healing, we require an alkaline disposition of blood and other bodily fluids.

Foods with predominantly alkaline-forming minerals impart alkalinity to the cells and metabolic waste stream.

Calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium and iron are the most significant alkaline-forming elements.

All fruits are alkalizing except blueberries, cranberries, plums and prunes.

All vegetables, squashes and potatoes are alkalizing.
